Gaming for decades has been a male-dominated field, especially when it comes to playing. We did not often see women playing games or being enthusiastic about them, but the scene completely changed during the early 2020s, starting a new wave of female gamers rising in the Indian gaming community.
In the beginning, there were very few female gamers who mostly live streamed specific games, but later they branched out and started exploring a variety of games. Here are those female gamers who completely changed the dynamics of Indian gaming communitie, here are the top female gaming YouTubers in India in 2025.
Payal Dhare aka Payal Gaming
Payal Dhare, also known as Payal Gaming, is currently one of the most popular female gaming creators in India. Payal began her gaming career by playing BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) and quickly became one of the most well-known female influencers in the gaming niche. Although she has shifted her focus from gaming to content creation, she still frequently streams BGMI.
The 25-year-old gamer is originally from Madhya Pradesh but currently resides in Mumbai to focus full time on her streaming and content creation career. Payal’s gaming journey began in college when her friends encouraged her to play PUBG Mobile. She quickly became fond of the game and spent long hours grinding and ranking up.
In 2019, Payal started posting her gameplay on YouTube, which helped change the gaming landscape in India. Payal Gaming now has nearly 4.50 million subscribers on YouTube and around 4.1 million followers on Instagram.
Her passion for mobile gaming won her the Mobile Streamer of the Year award at the International MOBIES Award 2024. Payal is also a member of S8UL Esports as a content creator. She was the first female gamer in India to reach one million subscribers on YouTube and is the only female gamer who has met the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kaashvi Hiranandani aka Kaash Plays
Kaashvi Hiranandani, popularly known as Kaash Plays, is another leading BGMI streamer who is known for her energetic and fun streaming style. Her love for gaming was ignited by her father, who introduced her to computer games at a young age. Despite being interested in gaming, Kaashvi was exceptionally good at studies, scoring 91 percent in her 10th and 89 percent in her 12th standard exams.
She later pursued a degree in financial management from the University of Singapore and worked as a fintech consultant in Singapore. Even with a stable job, Kaashvi’s heart remained with gaming, and she eventually decided to pursue it full-time.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Kaashvi left her job in Singapore and started her gaming career. Her first YouTube video was on Call of Duty Mobile, followed by content on games like Minecraft and horror titles such as Resident Evil.
After the return of BGMI, Kaashvi shifted her focus back to it, creating engaging BGMI content. She currently uploads a variety of gaming videos while continuing to stream live. Kaashvi has around 1.79 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 2 million followers on Instagram. She was earlier a part of S8UL as a content creator and has now joined Revenant Esports in the same role.
Shagufta Iqbal aka Xyaa
Shagufta Iqbal, popularly known as Xyaa, is one of India’s earliest and most respected female gaming streamers. She started her gaming career in 2016 and has since uploaded more than 1,000 gaming videos on her YouTube channel, Xyaa Live. Before stepping into gaming, Xyaa worked as a software engineer, which she eventually quit to pursue streaming full-time.
Xyaa initially focused on FPS games but later expanded into a wide range of PC games at a time when most of the Indian gaming community was centered around mobile gaming. She became a trailblazer in women’s gaming in India because she prioritized building a community that enjoyed her content, regardless of what game she played.
Xyaa currently has 634k subscribers on YouTube and more than 241k followers on Instagram. She is now part of Revenant Esports as a content creator, along with fellow gamer Kaashvi.
Ankkita Chauhan aka Ankkita C
Ankkita Chauhan is one of the biggest female Valorant streamers from India. She began her gaming career in 2018 with PUBG. Her introduction to Valorant came in 2020 when she played the game for the first time and uploaded a video on her channel titled “So I Tried Playing Valorant.”
Since then, she has focused heavily on streaming Valorant while also playing a variety of PC games. She is known for promoting a safe and positive environment, keeping her streams well-moderated for everyone.
Ankkita has more than 441k subscribers on YouTube and over 180k followers on Instagram. She is currently a content creator for S8UL, where she creates gaming and entertainment content for the organisation.
Saloni Kandalgaonkar aka Milli Gamer
Saloni Kandalgaonkar, also known as Mili Kya Mili, is one of the rising faces of India’s gaming and content creation space. As a member of S8UL, she has quickly established herself with her fun, energetic, and relatable style of streaming.
Like many gamers, Saloni began her journey with PUBG but later shifted to other games. She currently streams Valorant and continues to grow her audience through engaging and humorous gameplay.
Milli now has more than 205k followers on Instagram and over 324k subscribers on YouTube.
Female gamers in India are not only building massive communities but also breaking the long-standing stereotypes. Each of these creators has carved their own path through passion, consistency, and genuine love for gaming.
